Here are some highlights from the seminar. Questions of death and morality are not really harder for nonbeliever parents than they are for religious parents, it's just that freethinkers have a different set of tools to address those questions. How do you talk to children about death? It's not hard, says McGowan. If you engage children with the idea of death since early age, it will seem natural and understandable to them.
