P1090640 Glowing inscriptions in the Louvre basement
In the tunnels of the medieval part of the Louvre castle, there were these glowing inscriptions on the walls, in the One Ring style. :-) I don't know much French, but judging from the few words I could make out, this wasn't anything factual about the medieval Louvre, but rather poetic musings about history, or something of that nature. They appeared on the walls along tourist paths, as well as in out-of-the-way, roped-off niches, caves and ruins.
