at WestFest, a festival celebrating Czech culture in the little town of West, TX. West and many other little towns along the stretch of I-35 between Austin and Dallas were settled by Czech immigrants. Typical kolaches they sell in West are not fried, but as customary at a fair, you could get fried versions of things you normally wouldn't dream of frying.
